I have a new baby brother His name is Luke. He grabs our fingers and he sleeps a lot. It feels good to have another boy to play with me when he grows up. His eyes are blue. He can only see 12 inches.
I didn't expect him to come 4 days early, but when we were coming back from Dougs's Lego party, mom fell and hurt herself. She had to go to the hospital and they said that the baby was OK but Daddy called us and told us that the baby is coming. And we had to stay at Nana and Baba's house for 2 or 3 days.

Dad: How do you know if someone is mad? Nick: Because of the look on their face. Dad: How do they look? Nick: Angry. Mad.
Dad: Are you thinking about getting married one day? Nick: No, not right now. Dad: Why? Nick: Because I'm thinking about volcanoes. Dad: Why do we have the sun? Nick: To keep us warm. Julia: And hot.

Hi. I am here talking with Izzy. Izzy is my stuffed animal dog. He has black spots, brown fur and he's a little bit white. I got Izzy at Build A Bear. It is a shop where they have little clothes and boots for stuffed animals. Mrs Karen and Mr Dan went with us to get Izzy.
We are going to talk about when I had a burned hand. When Mr Dan, Mrs Karen and us had a fire, roasting marshmallows, I was sitting in Dad's lap and I tripped over his shoe and my hand fell in the fire.
I had to go to the hospital, but not in an ambulance. I went in Mom and Dad's car. They drove me there. They had to pull off some skin and put gauze on it and wrap it up. It sort of hurt. (This happened in spring of 2006).
I drove to the fire station yesterday with my friends. My mom and dad really drove. Then we took a tour of Mr. William's fire station (Fire Station 11). Then we saw a fire truck with ladders, hoses, air tanks, jackets, boots, overalls, gloves and we got to sit in the fire truck. Then we went to the ambulance. It has supplies to help people when they really, really need help instead of just driving there with your parents.
Then they had a fire. The bell rang and they put on their clothes when they have to go in the fire. Then they hopped in the trucks and they drove off. It was a real fire in a shed.
Then we saw where they slept sometimes when they have to stay at the fire station at night. Then we saw their kitchen with a snack machine in it and pictures of fire and smoke. At the end we got to pick out a toy from Mr. William's super great room filled with toys.
They have to exercise every day with weights, machines and arm wrestling. You have to do arm wrestling to get your arms strong. You have to do push ups.
If I were a fireman I would chop down doors if they were locked. It would be hard. We would be tired sometimes. I would get to ride in the fire truck.

Two days ago was our birthday. We had a Barbie cake and a Barbie sticking in it - a real Barbie! And we went to the movies!!! The "ratspie" movie - Ratatouille[dad: see parental review].
Aunt Donna wrote to me about Goofy Golf. She said she took Uncle Larry and Dad so they could play Goofy Golf when they were a kid. It is sort of like mini golf. You only use a putter in it.

I played mini Golf. It was fun bekase you haf to hit the ball over the hill and under a rock shaped like a short tunl (tunnel). On the 18th hole, It fell down the pipe wen we hit it in the hole. Then it fell in a bucket. I would want to go back.
I had 2 loose teeth. The dentist pulled the teeth out. The dentist put medicine to make my mouth fall asleep. It is still asleep. It feels a little funny.
I made a boat it is sort of like Teckertoos (Tinker Toys). it is a little big it is plastic. i think it might sink but it SINK. If i built a real boat it would flout.
We went to the farm. We pickt froot and vegtablls. It was good. We also playd on th slide and the rope swing. There was a chapeln (trampoline). It had animls. it had a maze. I liked them all. I'm going back!
My grandparants are coming on thursday to visit. pawpaw is using a Cane. meme is not. I want to play wii with them.i theink pawpaw will like all of the wiisports games. I am so excited. i'm going wild.
I have been sick. I'm going to talk about what I have - of sickness. I have strep throat and have been throwing up too. And it's a really bad feeling.
Sometimes you get different problems and you never know when you're going to get them and how you're going to get them. And when you have this sickness, you'll miss school for 3 days. Once you eat some nice warm soup, you'll feel a little bit better.
And, you have to lay downstairs, just laying there doing nothing. I've been watching Ruf Ruf and Reading Rainbow (with Baba).
I also saw a show about a famous guy that painted a mountain and a lake and lots of detail, and it looked real. He had redish, curly, sort of puffy hair. I watch him paint on TV. It made me feel like I was right in the picture and it was beautiful and it looked real.
I'm expecting to go back to school on Monday. Until then, I'm going to sit around downstairs.
I am going to tell you about the National Geographic Kids web site (click). You can learn about animals. You can watch videos and how their life is. You can play games.
I saw a dolphin who was swimming in the shallow water in circles. It was cool.
I am going to talk about Switch Zoo (click). It is a web program that is fun for kids and grown ups. And you can make your own animals there. And you can change it's head, body and tail.
If you make your own web site, you can put the animals you made on it.
